VISION
Our vision is to create a just and equitable society where people's rights are respected and protected, and everyone can live in peace and harmony. We believe that everyone deserves to be treated with respect, and we are committed to promoting human rights and social justice in the community.
MISSION
Our mission is to empower women and advocate for social justice in the community. We provide support for survivors of GBV, engage in advocacy campaigns for human rights, and foster peace and conflict resolution. We work towards creating a just and equitable society where everyone's rights are respected and protected, and people live together in peace and harmony.

Our values and guiding principles include integrity, quality, accountability, education, and collaboration. We believe that these values are critical to achieving our mission and vision and creating a better future for the community.

Caren Kiarie
Founder and Convener
Caren is the driving force behind Nyando Social Justice Center.
She is responsible for leading and coordinating the efforts of the center to achieve its mission and to succeed in the pursuit of social justice.
Jackline Otieno
Beneficiary & Children Protection Officer
Jackline is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of children who may be at risk of harm or abuse.
She is also the Champion of the Table Banking Project among other initiatives at the center.
Omanga Othatcher
Response Officer
Omanga provides support and mobilization of resources to community members.
This enhances problem solving whilst enhancing the well being of the community.
