We are a community-based organization that aims to promote and protect human rights in Nyando, Miwani, and Nyakach sub-counties in Kisumu County, Kenya.
A Sanctuary of Dignity and Equality
Nyando Social Justice Center is more than just a human rights organization.
It is a movement of people who believe in the dignity and equality of all human beings, regardless of their gender, ethnicity, religion, or political affiliation.
It is a network of volunteers who dedicate their time and skills to defend and support the victims of violence and impunity in Nyando, Miwani, and Nyakach sub-counties in Kisumu County, Kenya. It is a platform for dialogue and action that aims to create a more peaceful and democratic society.

Community Advocacy
The center engages in advocacy campaigns for human rights and social justice.
We work towards creating a just and equitable society where everyone's rights are respected and protected.
Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Prevention
The center provides support for survivors of GBV and raises awareness about GBV in the community.
We work towards creating a safe and secure environment for women and girls.
Peacebuilding
The center fosters peace and conflict resolution within the community.
We work towards creating a peaceful and harmonious environment where people can live together without fear or violence.
